Of minks and men: Cultural resilience and shifting baselines of the North American fur trade.

Conduct population genetic studies on mink, beaver, and muskrat, develop pipelines for ancient and modern whole genome data, and investigate the impact of the fur trade on species demography.

Developing genetic database to understand metapopulation dynamics of tigers and other large predators across tiger landscape of Maharashtra, India.

Conduct field and lab work for non-invasive sample collection of various carnivores (such as tiger, leopard, dhole, and sloth bear), manage and order lab consumables and equipment, develop and standardise PCR methods for individual database generation, analyse genetic structure and dispersal dynamics of large carnivores, and mentor interns.
